Solalua - a gastro bar located in the main square of Viceroy at Ombria Algarve - is the centre of the modern culinary scene.Inspired by the cycles of the sun and moon, this space stands out for the sophistication and creativity of its menu. Under the leadership of executive chef Pedro Pinto and resident chef Diana Nunes, the menu offers a reinvention of Algarve flavours, while exclusive cocktails, prepared by head bartender João Felicidade, complement the experience.
In 2025, Solalua will host the exclusive Eclipse dinner series, bringing together some of the finest names in national and international haute cuisine. These unforgettable evenings of culinary alchemy will see Pedro Pinto team up with a renowned guest chef to create unique, four-handed tasting menus, offering an intimate experience for just 25 guests. The ten-course menu celebrates Solalua's distinctive Algarve identity while showcasing the guest chef's talent, paired with carefully selected wines.
Confirmed chefs for the first edition include Vasco Coelho Santos (May 2nd and 3rd), Henrique Sá Pessoa (July 11th and 12th), Alexandre Silva (September 12th and 13th), and Louise Bourrat (November 7th and 8th).
