For dinner Monday-Saturday

Be enchanted by the magical charm of this very special restaurant. An original farmhouse built in 1884, tastefully transformed into a traditional and peaceful setting for a superb dining experience. On summer evenings dine under the boughs of a century-old fig tree or in the winter cosy up near the log fireplace, admiring the paintings of Fonseca Martins. Casa do Campo runs its own farm nearby where fabulous fruit, vegetables and herbs are produced for exclusive use in the restaurant. For starters choose from warm goat’s cheese tartlets with figs and honey, grilled giant tiger prawns, homemade seabass ravioli with a fresh dill and white port sauce, or a bowl of steaming clams. For your main course, a daily selection of fresh fish, served grilled with olive oil, fresh herbs and garlic, or the famous flambéed pepper steak, the Chateaubriand for two amidst many other choices, including their farmhouse specials. Vegetarian and gluten free options available.
